My favorite time of the year
It's not a particular season that's pleasing... it's the end of the semester. This is the time of year that the most determined classmates get together for last-minute crams to bond over equations, either in little study rooms or over dinner tables at Chinese buffet. These are the lasting relationships. Even if they don't last more than a semester, the connection is prized and the resolution is affirmed.
We made it, and we're happy about it. We set up our own study habits along the way and dealt with crazy schedules all semester long, but in the final days, we came together to share our achievements.
Crisp winter sunlight is gouging its way through my windows and into my sleepy eyes, and I can see college students walking to the bus stop outside.
Just two more bike rides and it's all over for this year.
I look forward to the end of next semester.

Lovely images, I concur, the weight is lifted, the sun breaks through, the last raindrop plops and we are free birds again
