The same men and women who were fighting electronic voting machines back in August at the Iowa Straw Poll are at it again at the beginning 2008 primaries! And this time with more money, more manpower, and better organization! (Although the sites need some work!)

Dennis Kucinich is my second choice.

Fourth is... a pity vote.

I just had a discussion with a teacher who is my good friend. I learned that a big chunk of our manufacturing is outsourced to other nations, so that corporations can save money. NAFTA has made it a lot easier for United States produce to be exported to Mexico. [Wiki that shit!]
Therefore, all the self-sustaining, outback, dare-I-say-"hick", farmers from Mexico have been pushed to the wayside. The value of their agriculture market has been devastated by US goods, so what do they do? They go to the cities for work but the cities are overcrowded. Then what is left?

Get paid $5 a day in Mexico? Or $10 an hour right over the Rio Grande?

In the last election cycle, I voted for Kinky Friedman as Governor because I did not want Rick Perry to put any fucking Trans-Texas Corridor in my backyard. I was merely concerned about the environmental issues. But you know what? I recently worked as a surveyor for 5 months and I know that toll road planning is IN the making. It's not a giant straight shot through Texas though... yet. TXDOT is redesigning current Interstate highways near Mexico borders to implement toll road lanes. As was passed down to me, if toll roads aren't put in, it would take 85 years to garner sufficient funds before they can even consider general repairs and maintenance.

So, TXDOT is worried about funds and growth. It's a business--that's its job... OH WAIT, that's not true! TXDOT is a government agency funded by the people! How much growth do they expect? Well, I saw the early plans for the highway... and it's calling for a LOT of structure. Triple the current number of lanes. Why would they plan for THIS much change unless someone higher on the chain was expecting a commerce boom right on the border.

There are people out there profiting off what they think is the inevitable--babies and inflation. And if we let them, the cycle worsens 100 times faster. Am I saying Ron Paul is the answer to all our problems?

He's the only hope for America. An honest Constitutionalist who will protect our national sovereignty.

I do not want these changes implemented anymore. Elitists can suck my balls.

I'm afraid that my apparent concern for the environment is very popular among the masses--the entire natural world is threatened by pollution--and so there are powerful people out there scheming to appeal to the naive and trick us into thinking that globalization is the "first step" to fixing environmental issues. I don't want my children to wake up one day under a superpower.

And furthermore! I WANT MY LIBERTIES PROTECTED!!! I HAVE HAD IT WITH THE UNCONSTITUTIONAL PATRIOT ACT!!!


Power to the people. Think Globally. Act Locally.
